The questions teams ask before they pick a plan.
- What counts as an API call?
- Each request to the StoneOS API — a search, a price lookup, a listing fetch — counts as one call against your monthly quota. The web terminal is read-only and doesn't draw down your API quota.
- Can I change plans or switch monthly to annual?
- Yes. You can move between plans or switch between monthly and annual billing at any time. Annual billing saves 20% over paying monthly.
- What happens when I hit my quota?
- During early access we'll reach out before anything breaks rather than hard-cutting your access — exact overage terms are still being finalized ahead of public launch.
- Do I need a card to start?
- No. The Starter plan is $0 with a sandbox API key and read-only terminal, so you can evaluate the feed before adding payment details.
- Is sourcing required to use StoneOS?
- No. You can use the normalized data and price discovery on their own. The 5% platform fee only applies when you choose to source an order through StoneOS.
- What's the difference between the API and the terminal?
- Both run on the same normalized market. The terminal is a web screen for the trade; the API is a live JSON feed you build on. Most plans include both.
